The new Nissan Micra has less of an impact on both the environment and your wallet or purse. The low friction, 3-cylinder petrol engine not only improves fuel consumption, but driving pleasure too. The advanced DIG-S engine available on new Micra achieves up to 68.9mpg (combined cycle) and produces from 95g/km (figures based on manual transmission Visia grade), making it one of the cleanest petrol engines in the world. DIG-S versions of Micra are also fitted with the Stop/Start system which stops the engine at idle speed to save on energy and emissions even further. DIG-S versions are also more responsive, accelerating from 0-62mph in 11.2 seconds and producing the power and torque you'd expect from a much bigger engine. The new Nissan Micra offers a unique combination of performance, fuel efficiency and ultra low emissions.

SAFETY
The new MICRA’s advanced safety features include six airbags and five headrestraints as standard, so you and all your passengers are protected. The Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) manages and monitors grip and traction for better driving control and the ABS prevents the wheels from locking up under extreme braking (both fitted as standard). Plus, the excellent all round visability gives you a clear view of your surroundings.
PRACTICALITY
The clever design of the new Nissan MICRA includes handy front storage areas for all those little things and a good-sized boot for all the larger ones. The rear seats of this innovative city car fold down flat for extra space when you need it. And for even greater flexibility, the rear seats split so you can still take a passenger or two along with your extra luggage.
